Only 32 more to go, seems like forever till I will be done, It will be August and summer will be almost over. Winter has only started here and it isn't going away for awhile. As you may be able to tell I am not an extremely patient person. My Ipod tells me I have a raspberry this week. Just moving right along the fruit section.
I have gained 5 pounds, I worked so hard to lose those 5 before I went to Hawaii. Easy to gain weight this time of year anyhow, then add being extra hungry, and if I don't eat often I start to feel sick.
I haven't told anyone yet, Sean let it slip to his mom. I would like to smack him for that one. I was hoping to wait till early January to start letting the parents know. They got so excited the last time, and it was hard to tell them when it didn't work out. I would have preferred to wait until week 12 and things are still fine to tell them.
I watched the NBC coverage of the Hawaii Ironman this last weekend, just makes me want to start training for another one. It was hard finding the time and training when we didn't have a kid. I was thinking of trying for Ironman Wisconsin 2012, but I don't know. May do RAGBRAI again the summer of 2012, then do WI in 2013.

week 7
My Ipod tells me that this week I am growing a blueberry this week. I am still eating fine, although it needs to be every few hours. It feels like I am Ironman training again in terms of how hungry I am. I have gained only a few pounds so far, and the only real thing that has gotten bigger is my top half. Much to my husbands delight that area is much bigger, guess that part of pregnancy helps off set my moodiness. Dam hormones, some days at work I just want to throw a stapler at my co-workers head for just looking at me. Haven't done it yet!
It is snowing like crazy here, will have to pull out my snowshoes and get out there soon. There a a few races I do every year, will have to walk though. I do hate to walk, just gotta keep telling my self I can run till my legs fall off in 7 months. Just hope my recovery won't take me too long, and I am sure my fitness will take a bit to get back.
And here are my new pair of shoes! I love them, it is like wearing slippers. I have run a few times in them, but will start putting the miles late next year.

Week 6
That's the week my ipod tells me that we are on during the pregnancy. Tells me all sorts of things like how I should be feeling, and how big the baby should be. I don't feel sick at all, I am just hungry all the time, but that is normal for me. We haven't told a lot of people this time, it was hard last year when we had to tell them the bad news. I would rather just not tell most people anything till much later.
It is hard being pregnant, the list of things I can't do sucks! Don't get your HR over 150, which means running so slow I might as well walk, only 1-2 cups of coffee a day. Obviously no beer or wine which helps one deal with their relatives this time of the year. The not working out too hard is the worst for me, I love to run hard after a crappy day at work, it is a great stress reliever.
No racing for me next year also, just get to watch, and wonder how long it will take for me to get back into shape after the baby. Defiantly getting the running stroller and bike stroller, a little added resistance.
